Bizarro Game Controller

This is a project that I worked on with Graeme Lennon as part of a very fun Bizarro Game Controllers workshop organized by Amanda Williams and Cindy Poremba.

Using an Arduino microcontroller and two sonar range finders, we built a Theremin-like game controller and made a little asteroid dodging game in Unity to play with it.

To control the ship, the player must hover both hands above the sensors. By raising or lowering each hand as if they were wings, it becomes possible to change the ship's orientation and dodge the asteroids that stand in the way.
